Embedded system development was never easier. Take the coding tools you know so well - Microsoft, Intel or Borland C/C++, Pascal or PL/M - add our 188SBC with it's source level debug tools, and you're nearly done! Remotely download and debug your code right on the 188SBC. The 188SBC is rich in features: 12-bit A/D and D/A, lots of digital I/O, battery-backed, fully static RAM, and Flash EPROM. Two serial ports that can be configured for RS-232 or RS-485 and an EPP or Centronics compatible parallel port. Character and graphic LCD's with controllers will plug right in. There is even a software controlled contrast voltage available. And if that isn't enough peripheral support, there is an optional Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) and a breadboard area so you can create any interface you need, from 3000 to 9000 gates! The 12 bit D/A converter provides a 0-5 volt output with +/- 1/2 LSB maximum non-linearity and guaranteed monotonicity. It can be connected to an on-board eight channel sample and hold output interface for increased flexibility. Droop rate is 20mV per second maximum. Digital I/O - Relay Interface Operator Interface
