Our Monitor Program resides in an EPROM on the SBC or emulator card. You can connect the emulator or the SBC to a PC through a standard serial connection. You will need a terminal emulation program running on the PC to communicate with the Monitor Program. The Monitor Program allows you to debug your code. It will display your code in 8051 assembly and hexidecimal numbers. There is no C source level debugging with our Monitor Program. Because the Monitor Program communicates through a terminal emulation program, there is no GUI interface. The Monitor Program is command line driven.
